"Arrival is the end of that journey, and the beginning of this one."
Showing up to the next meeting, recording, interview, audition, session, project. Whatever it is, arrive as the person you’re being - and want to be - that day. Your hands are free and open; your attention is on the people you’re meeting; you have everything you need with you.
At a party I met a lifelong traveller, and we got into conversation about backpack security. She bought one of my designs for her next trip to India. On her return she told me, “I felt like a professional traveller. I took on each part of the journey and the things I needed to do - even the unexpected parts - in the way I wanted to.”
Much of life, and travel, is about being prepared. Pack your backpack in reverse order of the things you need. What will you need first on arrival? Pack that last, easily accessible, so you arrive well at the other end.
Question
Where are you arriving next? How would you ideally arrive? What will you need first?
