Ordering RiutBags from the UK to the EU: Your Guide
I'm Sarah, founder at www.riut.co.uk and your RiutBag designer. I'm so glad to be shipping RiutBags to the European Union and globally again. We ship from England direct to your door every working day.
We have changed EU shipping policy in response to our customers' experiences. This is our current process as of 24 January 2025:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
What happens when I order on riut.co.uk?
- What you pay: You will pay for your RiutBag inclusive of your country's taxes at the checkout on my website www.riut.co.uk.
- What happens next: Riut pays your import tax and duties to your tax authority on your behalf. We notify the European Union your parcel is coming, so your parcel moves through customs more easily.
- What happens on arrival: Your RiutBag parcel arrives at your delivery address and there is nothing more to pay.
- What happens if the courier asks me to pay tax on arrival? Where this happens, it is a mistake in the international freight, tax and shipping system and we are truly sorry you had to experience this. If you are incorrectly asked to pay tax a second time you can show your RiutBag invoice to show that tax has already been paid. If they insist on payment, pay the invoice, send the receipt of payment to answers@riut.co.uk and we will refund the incorrect tax payment.
